6. Membership duration, changes and cancellation
An ongoing membership is concluded for an indefinite period. When you enter into the contract, you choose monthly or quarterly billing. The billing interval is one month or three months respectively and determines the period covered by your membership payment. The interval and the corresponding fee are shown before you enter into the contract.
You may give notice of ordinary cancellation at any time. For your membership to end at the end of the current billing interval, we must receive your notice at least ten calendar days before that interval ends. The date we receive your notice is decisive. If we receive it later, your membership ends at the end of the immediately following billing interval.
Unless cancelled within this notice period, your membership continues for another billing interval of the same length: one month or three months respectively. The agreed membership fee is payable for that additional interval.
Your membership remains active until then, and you can continue using the benefits you have already paid for. No further fees will be charged or collected for subsequent billing periods. Any outstanding fees for the time up to the end of the contract remain payable.
Ordinary cancellation does not entitle you to a partial refund for the current billing period because the agreed benefits remain available until that period ends. This also applies if you choose not to use them.
Statutory rights of withdrawal, the right to terminate for good cause and mandatory statutory rights to reimbursement remain unaffected.
You can use the public Cancel or withdraw from contracts page without logging in. Select “Cancel membership”. You can also find the page through the link with the same name in the footer of this website.
You can also change or cancel your membership in the members' area where these functions are available for your membership.
Plan changes, upgrades and downgrades are subject to the conditions shown during the respective change process.
9. Event cancellations, non-attendance and early departure
Once your booking is confirmed, we reserve your place at the booked event. For training and continuing education, we also provide the accompanying eLearning described in the offer.
Additional cancellation right within 14 days
You can cancel your event booking free of charge within 14 days of entering into the contract, provided you have not yet attended any session of the booked event. For events with multiple sessions, this applies to all related sessions. In this case, we will refund the event fee you have paid.
This additional contractual cancellation right also applies where there is no statutory right of withdrawal for the event. It ends when the 14 days have elapsed or when you first attend, whichever happens first. It does not restrict statutory rights of withdrawal.
To cancel, an unequivocal statement is sufficient, for example by email to office@ayi.info or through the electronic withdrawal function linked in section 12. To meet the 14-day deadline, it is sufficient to send your statement in time; you must also send it before you first attend.
After the additional cancellation right has ended
We do not grant any further contractual cancellation right. Cancelling for personal reasons, not attending, arriving late or leaving an event early does not in itself entitle you to a refund, voucher, credit, replacement session or rebooking. This also applies to illness, work commitments, travel difficulties or technical problems on your side.
Where we provide the booked services as agreed or keep them available for you, the agreed fee remains payable subject to the statutory requirements. We account for saved expenses and alternative earnings where required by law.
Statutory rights to withdraw, terminate or rescind the contract, and claims relating to services that are not provided or are defective, remain unaffected. Sections 12 to 15 apply to statutory withdrawal rights. Discretionary transfers to another event are governed by section 10 of the German general terms.
12. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer and enter into a distance contract, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period is generally 14 days from the conclusion of the contract, unless the law provides for a different starting date.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by making an unequivocal statement, for example by email, letter or through the electronic withdrawal function on ayi.info.
The electronic withdrawal function is available without logging in through the “Cancel or withdraw from contracts” link in the footer of this website or directly at Cancel or withdraw from contracts. Select the contract type for your withdrawal and enter your name, details identifying the contract and the email address for your confirmation. Select “Confirm withdrawal” to submit your withdrawal statement.
If you use the electronic withdrawal function, we will acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal by email without undue delay. The confirmation will include the content of your statement and the date and time it was received.
You do not have to use the electronic withdrawal function. Other statutory ways of submitting a withdrawal statement and the applicable time limits remain unaffected.
Address for withdrawal:
AYI® - Proprietor: Dr. Ronald Steiner
Leimgrubenweg 31

Email: office@ayi.info
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your withdrawal statement before the withdrawal period expires.
13. Exclusions and special rules for withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded for leisure events where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. The additional contractual cancellation right in section 9 also applies in this case.
For paid services, an existing statutory right of withdrawal expires early only when the service has been fully performed and the statutory requirements are met. These include your express consent to performance beginning before the withdrawal period ends and your acknowledgement that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed.
Attending one session of a training programme with multiple sessions, or simply receiving access to eLearning, does not automatically end the statutory right of withdrawal for the entire booking.
Separate requirements apply to paid digital content supplied without a physical medium. The right of withdrawal expires when performance begins only if you have expressly consented to early performance, acknowledged that this will cause you to lose your right of withdrawal and received the legally required contract confirmation from us.
Providing the electronic withdrawal function alone does not create any additional right of withdrawal or reimbursement. The additional contractual cancellation right in section 9 remains unaffected.
14. Effects of withdrawal
If you validly withdraw from a contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you for that contract in accordance with the statutory requirements. We will generally use the same payment method that you used for the original payment, unless otherwise agreed.
If you expressly requested that we begin providing a service during the withdrawal period, you may have to pay an appropriate proportionate amount for the services provided up to your withdrawal. This requires the declarations and information prescribed by law, including proper advance information about your right of withdrawal and the possible payment for services already provided.
If you validly exercise a statutory right to withdraw from a contract for digital content supplied without a physical medium, no compensation is payable for that content.
15. Model withdrawal form

Read the general terms in German
The scope shown when you buy your pass applies: Ulm, online or both yoga schools. A shared pass can be used at either school. School-specific passes can only be used at the stated school.
Additional passes add visits to your balance. Each purchase has its own validity period of six calendar months from activation. Buying another pass does not extend the validity of an earlier purchase.
Buying a pass does not reserve a place in a class. Please book each class separately in the timetable.
For pass purchases, the payment methods offered at checkout apply: SEPA direct debit, bank transfer or PayPal.
