—Tiras-kṛ or tiraḥ kṛ, cl. 8. P. -karoti, -kartum, to put on one side, set aside, remove, cover, conceal; to pass by, surpass, excel, conquer; to blame, re- proach, abuse, treat disrespectfully, contemn, despise; [according to Pāṇini I.
