A yoga practice that grows with you
What does your practice need today – and how can it support you through different stages of life? Flexibility, strength, recovery and resilience change over time. In the Longevity MTC, you explore with Ronald Steiner how to adapt your practice to your current needs and support others in doing the same.
Understand movement and explore your options
We bring anatomy, physiology, sports medicine and yoga therapy into dialogue with traditional yoga practice. You examine what supports a lasting practice and explore how yoga postures, props, variations and different ways of practising can be used thoughtfully.
Adapt practice to the individual
Each person's needs and circumstances guide the work. You discover ways to adapt practice throughout life: as a preventive approach, with physical limitations, after injuries and in older age.
The aim is a lively, enjoyable practice that develops with the person. One question guides our exploration: what does this person need now for yoga to remain a meaningful part of their life?
For your own practice and your teaching
You gain practical ideas for your own practice and for supporting your students. Together, you explore which adaptations suit each person and how they can form a coherent practice.
