विश्वमेतन्महादेवि शून्यभूतं विचिन्तयेत् |
तत्रैव च मनो लीनं ततस्तल्लयभाजनम् ||58||

At a place without trees, a mountain, a wall, or the like (nirvṛkṣa-giri-bhitti-ādi-deśe | loc sg), one should direct (vinikṣipet | 3p sg act opt) the gaze (dṛṣṭim | acc sg) into it.

Through the collision (saṃghaṭṭāt | abl sg) of the two breaths (vāyu-dvayasya | gen sg), inside (antar) or outside (bahis), at the end (antataḥ), [the] yogin (yogī | nom sg) [becomes] a vessel for the arising of the knowledge of equality (samatva-vijñāna-samudgamana-bhājanam | nom sg n).
Attend to the point where the two movements of breath meet, either inside or outside. In the end, the yogi becomes the vessel in which the recognition of equality arises.
